In Honor Of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

AUGUST OF 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his monumental speech “I Have a Dream” on the National Mall, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was introduced as “the moral leader of our nation.” On January 15th he would have been 83 years old, but today we honor him by remembering his incredible contributions.  Based on another quote of MLK ” Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: “What are you doing for others?”  We work hard to make a positive contribution daily to lives of others via “The Positive Bear blog. On this day of service in honor of Dr Martin Luther King Jr, be sure to find a way to give back to your community.

A few other MLK quotes that I enjoy:

” Never succumb to the temptation of bitterness.”
“I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”  ”All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. ~Martin Luther King Jr.~
